Price : US $9.57
The Bubble Books, published by Harper Columbia between 1917 and 1922, were the first series of books and records published together especially for children. They were known as the 'Harper Columbia Book That Sings'. Bound into each book are sleeves that hold three (3) single-sided 5.5' 78 RPM records. On the back of each sleeve are the words to the song so that the child could sing-along. The books measure 7.25' x 6'.
I have up for bid the 7th. in the series called 'The Funny Froggy Bubble Book'. The songs are: The Frog Who Would a-Wooing Go, The Carrion Crow and The Frog and The Crow. This book is in excellant condition with just a slight wearing on the upper binding and a tiny tear on pages 9 and 13. The records are in perfect condition. There is an inscription on the first page inside the cover dated 1920. This was a carefully handled book.
Please note the I do not ship outside of the USA and thank you for bidding.
