The Bankrupt Laws by William Cooke of Lincoln's Inn Esq Barrister at Law in two volumes (we have only vol 1), Vol I Extracts of the Statutes relating to bankrupts and determinations in the courts of law and equity. The seventh edition with alterations and additions, including the authors more recent notes and the cases down to the present period, by George Roots... London, Printed for William Reed, Law Bookseller, 17 Fleet Street Opposite Chancery Lane, and Charles Hunger, 26 Bell Yard Lincoln Inn, 1817. Condition is only fair to good, the leather covers are detached, spine is missing, some foxing mainly of the top edge, and stamps from a law library throughout including on the leather covers, but the text block is complete and intact. One oddity is that the first section has 97 pages and then the next section is paginated 1 through 649 and then the index, so two separate pagination areas, Over 700 pages then. 10x6 inches, weighs 3 pounds.
