See the scans. This is a rare first edition of 'A Record of the United Arts Rifles, 1914-1919.' Edited by Brigadier Edward Potton. Published by Alexander Moring Limited, 1920. 92 pages. Contents include table of contents, numerous illustrations, list of officers and partial roster, a detailed narrative of the Regiment's actions and achievements, etc.
The 1st Battalion Volonteer Regiment of London County was a unique group comprised primarily of artists which was brought into being at the beginning of World War One. They were known as the 'Unshrinkables' for their unusual white sweater uniforms.
Condition very good. Blue cloth cover shows numps to corners and top/bottom of spine as well as shelf wear to top/bottom of spine, Booksellers sticker to inside front cover. Binding tight. Pages overall very clean with some of the back pages showing early stages of foxing. This is a nice example of a scarce and useful title.

postal 'service' has been very spotty. In the last several months, I
have had first class insured items take over a month to California and
two weeks here in New York State. Most are delivered in a timely
fashion, but a few are not. NEW RULES FOR 2008 - NO OVERSEAS SALES,
CANADA AND U.S. ONLY. Sorry about that, but my airmail small packets
are being stolen enroute to England and Belgium. ALSO: ALL IT
