This book is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-11-07)
Price : US $1.75
One of the greatest satirical magazines to ever come out of Britain, Punch or the London Charivari, during World War 1 became a great source of Propaganda Material for the duration of the war. This book contains some of the greatest in Propaganda art work, as well as humor and wit on the British viewpoint from World War 1. This book is rare and a must own for those with an interest in the first World War and for collectors of propaganda art.
The condition of the book is great, however not mint, a torn corner on one of the pages, a scuffed cover and a few folds on other pages are all that are damaged, as this book has been well taken care of over the years.
This book is 424 pages, a culmination of articles from January to June and as an interesting side note was written on recycled newsprint, possibly due to shortages in print material during World War1.
I will accept returns for 7 days after the buyer receives the item.
