Book Description: Classic esoteric philosophical text contains the lectures of the ancient and accepted Scottish Rite. Text is composed of Pike's ruminations and essays on the three Craft Degrees of Freemasonry (1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees) and each the Degrees of the Scottish Rite, from the 4th to the 32nd. It is intended as a guidebook for people entering the Scottish Rite, and explains Pike's understanding of the symbolism and allegory in the degrees he wrote. 861 pages of text and a 218 page index. Minor light creases on the lower edges of a few front and rear text pages. Gilt spine and front cover. Pg. 573 has a tiny discoloration spot which does not affect the text.
